Opinion on 1.7Ct Round

^Bump.

Some more information:

HCA score is very good for both the stats on GIA report and stats on Jewelers report.
Jeweler has advised the stone is eye clean.
Stone is on hold for 2 days while I make my decision.
The analysis performed by the jeweler does not perfectly match the GIA report. Table size is a little different. Everything else is very close.
I understand the cut is not a perfect hearts and arrows cut but it still looks very good to my untrained eye. The idealscope image doesn't show much white (light escaping).

I think this might be the one I propose with. Anything else I need to be wary of. I think it will be a nice bright stone but I would really appreciate the opinion of some pricescope experts.

Thanks,

Harn.

The numbers and ideal scope look pretty good!

+1. Looks good!

Thanks for the opinions. This is a really big purchase for me so it is very reassuring to get your opinions.

Table percentage is calculated by measuring with a micrometer edge to edge of the table facet in several places and making a direct comparison to the average girdle diameter. Since this is not a speculative process like a color grade where you are relying on an expert opinion, I am somewhat concerned that the stone's measurements do not match the cert. The cut and symmetry appear to be very good, showing only a slight misalignment of arrows, nothing that makes me think that this diamond will have anything other than a great performance. Does the plot (map of internal and external clarity characteristics) match the stone?

See attached GIA report and magnified image. Note the difference in table specs.

According to the report the stone is enscribed with the GIA number and the crystal does appear to be at the correct location.

What do you think?

Spoke to the jeweler. He has agreed to recalibrate his machine and rescan.

Updated scan. Fire has dropped.

Specs are closer but not exact. What do you think? I want to make a decision today.

I think this is a fine diamond with some minor facet symmetry issues that will perform well and provide plenty of sparkle and flash.

Decided to go for it. Designing a custom ring based upon the Mark Morrell Torchiere.

Thanks to everyone for the tips and the help.
