Opinion needed on small G SI1 stone

Hey everyone,

Reading this forum has helped me alot so far in learning about diamonds and what to look for. You guys are great! I'm looking to propose to my girlfriend soon, I've found a setting on bluenile that I think is absolutely perfect and haven't found on any other site I've looked at. As such, it somewhat limits me to buying from bluenile, as I'd rather not buy the setting and diamond separately and pay to have it set. My budget is unfortunately a bit limited, but there is some wiggle room. Ultimately I want something that will sparkle moreso than something large. My girlfriend's hands are very petite anyways.

I was hoping to get some opinions on a diamond I've been considering getting. Here are the stats:

Ideal cut
Color - G
Clarity - SI1
Cut - Excellent
Polish - Excellent
Symmetry - Excellent
Fluorescence - None
Clarity Characteristics - Feather, Crystal,

Table - 56%

Price: $1500 US

If you have any suggestions for criteria to adjust or look for instead, or suggestions for other potential diamonds, I'm all ears. Thanks for your help!

No, it doesn't, but that's not in the OP's budget.

OP, can you get an Ideal Scope image on that stone? The numbers look good.

Please show us the setting because we may know of similar ones. I just am not wild about buying diamonds blind. So many other vendors have pictures and idealscope images of the diamonds.
