Opal cluster ring

I've always been a fan of opals, but have yet to purchase any for myself. Lucky me, my mother-in-law was going through some of her mom's old rings and came across this beauty. She isn't one for jewelry (she compares it to being decked out like a Christmas tree), so she let me have this beauty. I don't know any details about the ring, I just know I love it. These opals seriously GLOW -- I can't get good pictures of it. I'm happy for the sentimentality, and that I can have something to wear in her memory.
