Hi everyone,
My cousin is getting engaged, and since I know a little about diamonds she has asked me, to assist her boyfriend, in finding her a solitaire brilliant round ring between .05 ct. to 0.7ct. Her top 2 criteria points: 1. That it must face up white, and 2. Must 'sparkle' as much as possible for this price point.
I have been looking at fairly safe options on the Expert Selection + A-Cut Above selections on Whiteflash.
Generally these have a spread of between 5.1 - 5.4 mm.
But I just found one at Adiamor that could be a better option:
.67 ct. GIA triple ex, (states: feather, crystal) SI1, G, (Affinity cut) 56 table, 33.5 crown, 41.0 pav, 60.6 depth,
But the spread is 5.7mm - which makes it look like a 3/4 ct. and thus a tempting option.
I would be extremely pleased to hear any views - and any best suggestions you may have ??
Many thanks,
