Online stone, previously owned setting, who will set into ring?

I''ve been reading about jewelers who will set a stone not bought from their store into a setting bought from them. Here''s my situation: I''m upgrading and the prices I''ve seen for what I want is best online, Abazias specifically, although I''m still doing research. So I''m thinking of getting the stone from them. I already have a setting and feel it might be awkward to ask a local jeweler to set it? Although, I''d most likely buy to have my original stone set into a pendant so I''d purchase the chain. Anyone know how I could approach this? Also, how much will it cost approx to have a ring set?

Hi Peppa, I bought my stone from one place and the setting from another. I had the people I bought the setting from set it. I did talk to the place where I bought the diamond and I think it was a hundred or a couple hundred more for them to set it. I would email Abazias and ask them, or ask your jeweler.
