Is there a site or particular vendor that offers an online inventory search (ideally with prices) for side stones? (more specifically: half moons, trapezoids, etc.)

No. Generally the ring maker sources all stones but the center one (unless it is three rounds, perhaps).

Agreed. That said, sometimes DiamondsByLauren.com and Leibish.com have listings for fancy side-stone pairs.
