Thanks for the information. I actually have one more question to ask if you all don''t mind. I am going to get a setting with a rb center stone and pear shaped sidestones on each side. One diamond I am considering is 1.15 carats, however there is another that is only 1.00 carat which is $900 cheaper. Do you think that extra 1.15 carats would be noticeable in such a setting. The dimensons are:

6.75-6.73-4.14

vs

6.45-6.41-3.95

Thanks!

Hi!

If you had the two stones side by side, you could probably tell the difference, but it would not be huge. All by itself, the 1 ct. will basically have the same "look" as the larger.

Ditto that!

Hi! Thanks for the input. If it were you would you spend the extra money on the slightly larger diamond?

Thanks!

I would pick the stone you like best = performance wise. If it''s the more expensive one, you won''t be sorry. If it''s the less expensive one you''ve saved some money but still have the best diamond.

It would depend on which diamond had the best proportions out of the 2 as to which I would pick. If you could, post the

depth
table
crown angle
pavillion angle
girdle thickness

also the colour and clarity, that way we can see more of the picture and help you further if you would like.

There is about a $900 price difference?

I would appreciate any opinons!

Both look smashing, if picking by the numbers I would choose #1, Idealscope images for both would be useful if you can get them, but I think you could pick either and be happy.

I agree, they both look great with the numbers so far. As Lorelei suggested, an IS or Sarin report would help seal the deal. However, if that''s not possible, and you want to play it safest, I''d pick the first.

Are you working with someone you trust? and could ask their opinion of both? because the second one really could be lovely too.
