My husband said that he was talking to the guy who cuts his hair and he also cuts some policie officers from Rosemont. So the police officers said in spite of news reports that things were pretty subdued after the election, there was looting and rioting on the south side and Mayor Dailly told the media to stay away and to not report on this. You can assume whatever reason he did this, but maybe because he is trying to lobby for the Olympics he doesn''t want any bad press. Nice that he is able to suppress the media.

I live in Chicago---and with the big microscope that was on our city this past week, I find it hard to believe that the mayor would genuinely be able to keep a riot or looting quiet....I mean, we had every mass media outlet in some shape or form here in Chicago...how would a riot go unreported???

Sounds a bit dramatic on the barbers part. But, thats just my opinion
