LOL I have the box sitting here and, as a courtesy, I call my husband to ask if he wants to be here when I open it... he doesn''t answer his cell phone so I''m like ah forget it... I''ll just open it... I''ve got the scissors in hand and I''m prying open the seal and the phone rings, I answer it, it''s him and he actually wants me to wait!!! UGH!!!!!! LOL I mean that''s sweet and all but he''s not going to be home for lunch until noon and it''s only 9:47!!! It was bad enough falling asleep last night and waking up early and posting signs on both doors to knock loudly (not that I wasn''t within 10 feet of them just in case @@) OMG I''ve lost my mind... and I''m sure my husband is relishing in my torment LOL

LOL! I need to do something to waste some time and don''t suggest finishing the laundry!! LOL It''s made worse to me because I haven''t even seen a pic of this diamond and I don''t know if when I see it I''ll love it or be disappointed... I''m even a little afraid to open the box... all the more reason I want to rip the bandaid off and not let it build up any more!!!!!!!

Thanks! and it''s an omc that was cut this year the gia cert says "old mine brilliant" and is VG/VG but we''ll see!!

I''m waiting for the pix to upload... two things disappoint me off the bat and this is going to sound very weird... but it''s too white and the culet is too small LOL I know I know... I haven''t seen any of the pix yet... I''ll post at least one really fast before I go through them all and edit them... but I was expecting something far less white... it''s a hint of ivory but not much and it faces up more brilliant than I would have expected and it is a true old mine cut meaning the 8 pav facets are not evenly spaced like scott''s and others that I''ve been attracted to - but rather the four corners have much thinner facets and in those corners in the very brief sun I got it was almost princess cut like in the pin fire... but the sun was gone quick and hasn''t been back so all of the pics I have are under pretty thick clouds and inside. The proportions are great... Maybe the *tiniest* bit long but nothing I''d turn away... it''s a 1.26:1 and maybe 1.20:1 might be everso better... not that this isn''t a beautiful stone omg it is... eye clean is an understatement... I can''t wait to see the pics, the camera is better than my eye!! lol I''ll post them on RT in a few...
