This is embarrassing.
Matt Groening has actually identified, captured, and portrayed my senile grumpiness.

And LOOK! There's a T-shirt!
Gotta get one.
Gotta get a dozen.

I've loved Matt Groening since see that comic he wrote, Life in Hell.
It ran for 32 years.
Here are some of the best ones:

Here are some quotes from the man.

Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath.
At night, the ice weasels come.

Here's to alcohol: the cause of, and answer to, all of life's problems.

When authorities warn you of the sinfulness of sex, there is an important lesson to be learned.
Do not have sex with the authorities.

Kenny, love it!

It seems some people are all set with their outrage and indignation, and just need to find a target or a cause. Now I can point out a cloud to them, and pass them a T-Shirt. :D

You can't have a T-Shirt. You're too funny and charming ... when you want to be. ;)

I love Matt Groening too. He's a genius and really shows us life through realistic eyes IMO. Funny and smart.

Ah yes, Akbar and Jeff.

It was pretty subversive to portray a gay couple (especially as just regular people) in a comic in 1977.

Interesting read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_in_Hell

Thanks for the link. I didn't realize the reason behind Life is Swell. Fascinating. Isn't it sort of funny how no matter how much changes sometimes very little changes? Change/Progress sure is slow that is for sure. ::)
