Some things just impress me as stupid. I have decided to start a thread of these aggravating, moronic things that I happen across in the course of my day.

THE GRAMMAR IN THE EXCERPT BELOW

Springfield, Ohio- Keshia Castle explained that school officials banned her son, Ethan Clos, from Reid Elementary School until he gets rid of his Mohawk.
“They seen his hair like it was,” Castle explained to WHIO. “All the little kids were going over and feeling on it and everything.”
“I could understand if it was colored, and if it stood up longer off of his head and everything else but I do not see nothing wrong with this,” added the boy’s grandmother, Joyce Wells.

STUPID CELEBRITIES
In perhaps one of the weirder body art homages, Steve-O has copied two of Angelina Jolie's iconic tattoos. The "Jackass" star has "Billy Bob" tattooed on his left bicep, and while Jolie eventually got her version of the ink removed, Steve-O still has his prominently on display. He also has the Khmer script Angelina had done in honor of her son Maddox on his back, right above the tattoo he has of his own face.

Looking up descendants of General Grant, I'm happy to see an entire google page with hits titled, yes, "Descendants of Ulysses S. Grant." I open one after another....and find family trees, ending with Grant -- in other words, his ancestors. Grrrrrr. Do we speak English anymore??

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) -- 6-year-old accidentally shot by 4-year-old. The parents of the 4-year-old were home at the time.

STANLEY, N.C., CBS News -- "The bodies of the two young cousins, 6-year-old Chloe Jade Arwood and 7-year-old James Levi Caldwell, were dug out Monday.
Later on Monday, sheriff's deputies removed firearms and a marijuana plant from Arwood's mobile home. Arwood is a felon who is not allowed to have guns. He was convicted in 2003 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
The father had been digging with a backhoe on the site Sunday, Sheriff David Carpenter said. Investigators described the pit as 20 feet by 20 feet with a sloped entrance leading down to the 24-foot bottom. The children were at the bottom of the pit retrieving a child-sized pickaxe when the walls fell in on them, Carpenter said.
The sheriff would not say what Arwood was building or whether he had any professional help. He did say that investigators would be looking into reports from neighbors that Arwood had been building some sort of protective bunker. ..." Dad was building some sort of bunker to protect his family, and did not get any permits.

LEBANON, Tenn., USA Today -- 4-year-old picked up a loaded gun off a bed while deputy Daniel Fanning was showing guns to relatives at family gathering and fatally the deputy's wife. "On Saturday, Josephine G. Fanning, 48, was killed at her Wilson County home when the boy got ahold of a handgun owned by her husband, Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Fanning, who worked as an elementary school resource officer."

I have no idea!! I think i'm just fascinated with the hot mess they are - but seem to try hard not to be! Khloe is actually pretty normal...i think now that Kim is pregnanat i'm even more fascinated to see a train wreck...esp. since it's Kanye's!

Especially the Kardashians. Blech. She is a beautiful girl made so by plastic surgery. Which by the way, I think is a fine thing, but I just don't get the pedestal she is on. With enough surgery we could all look better than we do. Just not role model material in my book.

I don't really watch reality tv. The main thing I check out on cable is the food network or cooking channel. We don't even have cable (netflix only) at our house because it is so full of crap!
