And it''s not because of the Internet, MP3 players, or anything like that.

It''s because of the frustration of trying to open a new CD. My gosh, I just spent 10 minutes (easily) and broke a nail and a pen trying to pry the thing open. Who''s brilliant idea was it to use super glue on the label? It drives me MAD!!

Okay, now that little vent is over with.

My mom was recently in line behind a guy buying a CD. After he purchased it, he asked the clerk to open it for him. Some record stores (all?) have a little razor tool that makes opening them easy.
 
Ha, I hear you! I find it helpful to open it this way:

There usually isn''t a seal on the bottom side of the case. I pull off the case from the bottom left corner and pull it up towards me and up, which will begin a good lift off of that pesky adhesive on the top. Good luck!
