I recently proposed, using a Tacori setting that I think suited my fiancee well. She had voiced concerns in the past about "what do you do if it someone buys you a ring you don''t like?," when talking about other friends'' engagements. As a result, I decided to leave the CZ in the setting, and after she said yes, I explained that I wanted to make sure that I could return the setting if she did not like (but, fortunately she did). Now we have been looking at stones and after lots of reading on here, looking at B&M stores and Pricescope vendors, I think I am about to purchase this stone:
Shape - Round
Carat - 1.2
Color - J
Clarity - SI1
Cut - GIA Excellent
Depth - 61.6%
Table - 58.00%
Crown - 34.5%
Pavillion - 40.8%
Symmetry - Excellent
Polish - Excellent
Girdle - Slightly Thick
Culet - None
Fluorescence - Medium Blue
Measurements - 6.79 x 6.81 x 4.19 mm
It is approximately $5,000 which is about what I was looking to peak at. Any thoughts? A lot of the other ones I looked at seemed to have more inclusions, or more central inclusions rather.
Thanks for your help.
