I just wanted to introduce our new German Shepherd puppy to PS because I'm simply bursting with excitement! Four months old, male, very energetic and likes to "talk"... Thanks to Andrey here on PS for help with correct spelling / pronunciation of the name "Duscha" which is spirit or ghost in Russian, it is pronounced doo-sha. We picked him up this weekend and had our first well baby check this afternoon at the vet... Simply a love and a real crowd pleaser despite all the poking and prodding that comes with a vet visit. Dad weighs in at 110 pounds and mom at 90+ so we should be a Big Boy! Yes, he's in training to accompany me to the office, this one is a full time partner in the firm.

LOOK at those feet!!! He's darling, but he is going to be a Very Big Boy!!

Awe, so cute! And what a proud puppy parent! More pics please!

Yes, he's all feet and ears! He clomps around the house, clomp, clomp, clomp... He learned how to conquer the stairs yesterday, the cats are not very happy about that... he's very curious about the cats and tries to talk to them (enthusiastically) but as of yet, they're just not having it. The closest we've gotten thus far is one of the cats sitting on one side of me being pet with Duscha laying on the other side of me trying to convince her that he's not going to eat her. Here's another picture of him laying on the carpet...

And this is all the energy we had when we got home from the vet... here we're showing great potential as a watch dog ;))

Omg love!!! Look at those ears! Gosh I just want to hug him, he's so cute!

 He is so cute! Hes going to be huge, look at those paws! Have fun with him. :))

He's absolutely gorgeous! Enjoy his puppy days. Before long he'll be fully grown and pretty much telling you what to do!

Oh my gosh!!! ADORABLE! If I worked in your office I would get absolutely nothing done!

I have a soft spot in my heart for the vocal ones. Our younger pup was the most vocal in the litter and he is still vocal! He never barks, he just makes these funny sounds when he's happy. I love it, it's like he can't contain his zest for life, haha.

Oh my God, he's beautiful!

He's so handsome! Oh how my life would be so much better if I could bring my dog to work!

Oh the cats were not very happy this morning when Duscha discovered that he could fit under the bed and follow them! He's very curious about them and their escape path has been under one of the beds, this morning he mastered the art of the belly crawl and cruised under the bed from one side to the other. Thankfully they've still got him beat when it comes to size and speed.

Awwww

He'll learn pretty quickly not to bother them too much I imagine!
Our cat taught the dog his place very early on and we've had no trouble with them together at all for the past five years - better to learn now than later, that's for sure

oh my he's gorgeous  i bet he's a handful :naughty:

but sooooo cute

He's so cute!!! I love new puppy antics!

He is awesome... love the guard dog picture. Sounds like he already has you wrapped around his finger. Good luck with the training!

He is so precious. A neighbor had a GS named D'artagnan (Dart for short) and he would freely roam the neighborhood, visiting everyone. He would always hang with the other dogs just lying down next to them. He was such as sweetheart. Enjoy your precious baby!!

AWWW he's SO handsome!!

So cute! What a lovey face!

He's gorgeous!! I hope you continue to post pics as he grows up.

What a cutie! But Todd, judging by the size of those paws, you might need a bigger house when that pony--er; I mean *puppy*!--grows up!

I know! Thankfully I grew up with German Shepherds and have a good idea of what to expect... But I have to say that he looks bigger every day. The picture that I wish I had time to capture yesterday was of our youngest cat Mimi slapping at the dog with her paw while he was sleeping on the carpet... She had snuck up right up to his face and was sniffing it, then she patted him gently and then sniffed him again, then just hauled off and whacked him a few times until he woke up and yawned and she was out of there!

Ohh is he cute!!!

Love the name too.

Awww he is adorable and I love his squidgy ears.

He's way too cute! Dogs become such an important part of the family. What a great addition!
