I have been lurking on the forums for a few weeks now and this is my first post so please be lenient. After 11 years of being together I am taking the plunge in Las Vegas in April and I plan on suprising her with the ring when we go to the grand canyon. I went with Blue Nile because of all the great feedback on the forums for them and they have a 30day return. Let me know if I got screwed LOL. I bought a

clarity/ vvs2
color/ I
cut/ very good
polish/ excellent
symetry/ very good
flouresence/ strong blue
girdle / thick
table/ 75%
dimensions 5.15mm x 5.07mm x 3.74mm
price $2214.00 diamond only
I had it mounted to a 3mm 4prong white gold ring.
I was on a tight budget but wanted the best I could afford.
I had blue nile visually verify that the blue was not a negative on the stone just because I had read on here about milky or cloudy stones could result from the strong blue, but htey assured me it was not a factor.

Princess cuts cannot be judged by the numbers alone. Please provide a picture. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

The VVS is overkill but if that''s all that is available, what can one do, ya know?

Table is VERY large at 75%. It concerns me as it could mean a very flat stone = not much fire.
What is the depth?
What is the cert?

I take it you have already bought this diamond and have possession of it, reading your post? If so, the main thing is if you love it. Princess cuts can''t be judged by the numbers, so any feedback we can give is limited, unless you have pics of the diamond but even so you are the best person to judge as you have seen the rock!
