Ok, Found A New Stone From JA - Opinions?

I posted last week about a 0.8 carat diamond from James Allen, and the majority of responses told me to get something a bit bigger, in exchange for some color and clarity. So, here''s the one I am planning on buying now. The setting she wants is from a local jeweler, so I will be ordering the stone only.

Thoughts? It''s $4280 with the PriceScope pricing. It looks really clean, save for some feathering on the top left (on the picture on JA).

I should add, it scored a 1.1 on the HCA (ex, ex, ex, vg).

Just called, and they will send the IS image to me. It''s in their NY location, so Jennifer wasn''t able to check it, but she will have them check it and send me the results (for eyeclean) to me, as well.

Any thoughts on the specs and how it looks on the image that is available already? I think the feather is small enough to get most of it covered by a prong.

Just received the IdealScope image. They have also confirmed that it''s 100% clean to the naked eye.

Its not h&a by the PS definition but is an excellent diamond.
I would put it in the same class as WF ES line and GOG excellent(non H&A) line of diamonds.
Run a PS search and if the price is in line with those then I think it would be a good purchase if your not looking for the best of the best but still excellent.

And....SOLD! It''ll be here tomorrow, at which point I''ll have the local jeweler (who has the setting) finish it up. I think I''m going to give it to her tomorrow!

Update:

I''m all paid up at the local jeweler for the setting. The diamond should be here by 10:30 AM this morning, and then the jeweler says they can have it set within an hour. They did the sizing on it (5 1/2) and the wedding band that matches last night to make the setting process as quick as possible.

Ahhhh! If it gets here before 10 AM, I should be able to give it to her at lunch time. Otherwise, she''ll have to wait.
