While I'm sure many of you are celebrating the drop in oil prices, I'm not so happy about it.
Canadian currency is somewhat tied to oil prices due to the oil and gas industry as a major driver in the Canadian economy. Low oil prices mean a worse CAD-->USD exchange rate, which in turn, means I would be paying $2,743.93 CAD (plus import tax) for a $2400 USD ring. (I want to get my mom something fancy for her birthday, but right now it's too $$$)
I wish North America just had one common currency
Any other international folks being affected by the change in oil prices? or brutal exchange rates?
