Who Oh Harriet...

As much as I love Purell, it is no substitute for a good scrub down.
 
Since I''m a constant whiner, what the heck:

As you know, the outlaws have summoned us to the Berkshires for the weekend. They are well aware that the last 3 weeks have been crazy on Wall Street. Shouldn''t they let DH rest at home? Also, in the middle of this week, after a long work day, they had him crunching numbers for their possible purchase of a B&B. I''m trying to be supportive. DH, naturally, has been stressed and I''ve been helping him out, as I should. At the same time, I''ve not complained about the weekend. So, my feelings are all bottled up. Remember the weekend we spent with them in July? It went well on the surface, but I ended up being royally stabbed in the back after that.

Argh!!! How frustrating for you. No, you are not whining. We all have frustrations in our lives no matter how blessed they are and how grateful we are for our blessings. There is nothing wrong with venting here.

Your poor DH. Yes, this has been a crazy week on Wall Street. The market is enough to warrant Valuim(sp) for anyone! Does he still want to go amid the current craziness? Does he mind helping them with the number crunching?

I''m not sure. The outlaws seem to think that we don''t want them in our life, even though they were the ones living overseas until recently. I suspect he''s going to help correct that misperception. He says he doesn''t mind crunching numbers for them, but he''s a pushover when it comes to them.

I''m great! Just busy with the kids. Both boys have had a crazy week with sports and DD is taking two dance classes this fall. I''ve been doing a lot of volunteering at school, too. Just call me taxi!

How are things on your end?

My friend''s back, but she''s working on something else. She gets distracted rather easily. Oh, you''ll be proud of me. I can swim in the deep end of the pool now. My instructor says he''s never seen anyone bounce back so quickly from a near-drowning experience. I''m very happy.
