5670756 class="msgfield">So, I took my pawnshop ring in to have it appraised and have the head fixed on it. When I bought it, the head was crooked just a tad.
While I was there I mentioned that sometime I might like to have it made "East to west". He went through and told me what all would have to be done to do that. I said that sounds pretty cool and might have to do that sometime, but not right now. I wasn''t sure how much that would cost and didn''t want to spend any extra right then.
Fast forward to today. The appraisial is done and the head has been fixed and it''s ready to be picked up.
I head on down to the shop. The very nice lady at the counter goes to get my ring and comes back. She pulled the clear plastic little baggie with the ring out and starts to take the ring out.....
I had this kind of "shocked" look on my face for a secI smiled and said very shly that I didn''t know he was going to do that. I thought he was only fixing the crooked head. We had only "talked" about what he would need to do if I wanted it east/west.![]()
I am NOT upset AT ALL. Infact, I''m in love. The jeweler came out, he was a little nervous, poor guy!! We talked about it and I told him what an AMAZING job he did on it.
What we DIDN''T talk about was if I changed my mind....would he fix it for free? I''m sure he would though, and right now I''m not all that concerned about it.
I think it''s beautiful and unique... just like me!!! Hahahaha!!
Well, what do YOU think of my new East/West setting???
LOL!
Thanks! Jen
Ps. I''ve added an unintended "before" pic. LOL!
