How much can you realistically expect to save on having an off-season wedding?
One of the venues I am potentially interested in would be $1300 cheaper to rent in November rather than September (which we had originally planned). The trade-off would be that we would not be able to have the ceremony outside, and the fantasy I had of departing on a sailboat would be impossible (though it would probably be a stretch at any time of year).
Is anyone else planning an "off-season" wedding? Any regrets? Would I really be able to save a substantial amount from other vendors (florist, caterer, etc.)?
