% of money on ring/diamond

I was just curious what people think their e-ring budget should go towards. What percent did you spend on your ring versus your rock?

I dont usually do $''s but your query is falling off the board.
Rings are fixed between a few undred to 1-2k depending on small diamonds etc.
Center stones range from 1k to millions.
So there is no answer.
1ct is considered as a lower limit for many professional DINK''s
