OEC Table % Question

Hello! So I've come across an OEC that has promise and is priced really well. I've seen a video and some pics of it but haven't seen it in person. Something about it speaks to me but my primary concern is the table size. I have an OEC with a 46% table and love it. This one has a table of 42% and that just seems soooooo small to me. Is there a such thing as too small of a table in an OEC? Are there negative effects of such a small table?

The specs are as follows:
1.53 ct L SI2 (eye clean per seller)
7.53 x 7.42 x 4.50 mm

Depth 60.2%
Table 42%
Crown Height 16.7%
Crown Angle 30.0
Pavillion Depth 40.7%
Pavillion Angle 41.1

I know that judging an OEC is best done in person but unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. So any insight you might have is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can you ask the vendor for clear pics & post a picture or photo of the stone here? Or put it on hold and post the link to it.... Sometimes stones that are overly deep with tiny tiny tables have a nailhead type issue but this one probably will not and should be fine - honestly the best way to tell if it is half decent is posting/looking at images of the stone.

I'm sorry. We need pictures like this:

Have the vendor take a good photo. Most vendors have light box set ups and can do it for you.

Looks fine in the video you have of it. I think it looks like a pretty stone, nice and bright, I'd probably prefer it a whisker deeper myself but other than that from what I can make out in the video it's O.K.

Well it turns out that this stone is owned by someone who has posted on pricescope previously. So I found a few more photos of it. These are the two that show the facet patterning best. Not exactly what you asked for Gypsy but hopefully it will do.

This is on ebay right?? The pictures look familiar.

Anyhow a 42% table wouldn't bother me. I personally love itty bitty tables on old cuts. The facet pattern on this particular old cut is not very appealing to me, but that is complete personal preference. Is the seller offering a return period? If so I would probably buy it and check it out. If not I would ask for more pictures if you are still on the fence.
