OK....
update.
oh geez just got done with dinner I''M STUFFED
OK ANYWAY..
about the diamond viewing.
1st...
I FORGOT MY CAMERA.. grr
2nd
the appraiser, Corina was great.
she said it was a lovely stone. VERY clear. couldn''t see a thing with the loupe.
very pretty stone!
3rd..
it had color. seller was told it was an L
Corina felt that it was an M-N
4th
Setting was gorgeous and immaculate with little stones on the side
BUT
1
it had wayyyy too much color for me. it faced up beautifully but... i could see color
it looked like lightly rusty colored water. if anyone''s ever seen that before...
2
the setting would have to be sized down from a 7 to a 3.5
and that would be impossible because it would greatly shift everything. including the side stones.
i would have to size it down to maybe a 5 at the smallest and get shockers
I don''t want to do that.
3
I could take the stone out and put it in my setting except
the stone is too big for my setting
BUT OH MY GOODNESS
i loved it. i just wish it were a i or a j. then i woulda jumped ALL over it.
the size, 2.08 was a perfect size for me.
i did see a really CUTE bow pendant from the 1920''s with a .40 carat omc in the center surrounded by SMALL stones
for 2,000. i get so easily distracte
Thanks everyone for their input and cheers
i will keep looking!
