New to the scene... I have been debating whether to sell a set by ebay or through a jeweler consignment. The set has been appraised. I have a partial copy of the original appraisal with the EGL certified #. I would like to obtain a copy of the certification (to add with the sell of diamond). I was told to get the certification from the original jeweler. Unfortunately, I don''t know the original jeweler. Is there another way I can obtain the certification? I tried to log on to the EGL USA website; but my number did not pull up anything. Any suggestions?

Thank you!!

Sincerely,

Reality bites & I am letting go

You need to find out who the issuing EGL lab was (they''re all over the world) and request a copy from them.

What''s the cert number?

Put a 'D' at the end and you'll be right for online report check.

With Stebbo''s information, that pulls up a 1.25 F/SI1 oval on the EGL-USA website.

Is that the correct stone?

Yes that is correct!!

Yes that is correct. Would I be able to order the certificate directly from EGL USA? I would like to obtain the certification to use as part of the sale. Any suggestions?

Yes, you should be able to get a duplicate report if you contact them directly. There will be a charge, but it shouldn''t be too expensive. I don''t know right off-hand, but I would guess no more than $75.

Thanks for all of your help!! I truly appreciate it!!
