I've worked for a gem lab, specializing in diamonds, for a couple of years and have recently moved to nyc. Though I know a lot of about diamonds and continue to learn about them, I am eager to learn about the nyc diamond market.
I could walk into several stores on 47th and act like i'm looking to buy, but I rather help somebody else out who's actually looking.
If anybody in the area wants to go diamond shopping and would like some useful company. I'm pretty sure I could be of some help and i'd really appreciate the experience. Meaning I give you some professional advice and you give me a chance to learn the market. Fair trade, no money necessary.
Let me know
p.s. Online diamond prices are pretty hard to bet, but there will never be any diamond specifications/cut grade that will tell you how good a stone will actually look in person.
