So I got the dress on Tuesday and I need to look up an estimated idea of how much the alterations will cost. Gemgirl gave me a good lead for a seamstress in Huntington, but I''d like to know about any others that you''ve worked with and loved. If you''re open to it, let me know what you did to your gown and how much they charged. I''m on a budget (a little, itty bitty, omg I''m supposed to have a wedding on THIS? budget!) so I''m asking for any and all affordable seamstresses!!
I need to:
- tighten bodice/shorten spaghetti straps
- shorten hemline
- possibly alter the back for more coverage (I''m debating this, as both Moms are aghast at the skin bared but love the rest of it!)
