Hi everyone. I''ve been reading your forums for about a month now while I search for an e-ring. I think I''ve caught the diamond bug!!!!! I love it!!!
I am leaning towards using Engagement Rings Direct because it''s in NYC and I can go see the diamond in person before I buy it. Are there any other vendors on Pricescope that have NYC locations? ERD seems to have gotten great reviews on Pricescope. Does Engagement Rings Direct have a store that I can just walk into if I go there or do I need to set up an appointment ahead of time? The other thing I''m wondering is if I go there in person can I barter at all on the cost?
The Diamond I''m looking for is:
0.9C D to F VS1 to VS2 Ideal to premium cut Ideal to very good symmetry
Ideal to very good polish no or faint flouresence no culet depth 60-62 table 55-59
Budget is $5200 for diamond and ring
I found THIS DIAMOND at ERD. What do you guys think of it? James Allen lists it as only a premium cut but ERD lists it as Ideal (they obviously use different criteria.)
