NYC Diamond district vacation

Hello all.

Does anyone know if the 2006 summer vacation for the NYC diamond district has been decided yet? If so, when is it?

I have already put in for some time off this summer, and that would be an ideal time to go band shopping, seeing as the booth I most want to hit is closed on weekends. However, it just dawned on me that it may coincide with the summer break.

It always seems that the end of June and into the first part of July is when they close down. At least that''s what happened last year. Someone has to know the answer to your question. I woud like to know also. If I make a day trip last thing I need is for them to be closed.

I''ve been checking hotel availability, things are booking up for the summer.

Many of the big jewelers will be in Vegas all next week for the big jewelry show. I just looked at the calendar and there is no Jewish Holiday listed for early June???
