harriet, I would go only if you or someone will teach me about antiques. AND if you promise not to let me spend any money. I will undoubtedly want to buy lots of things (did you say jewelry?) but DH and I are saving for school loans and a home.
 
I can teach you the little I know. The promise must be mutual. We''ll both be good, right?

well coati, we will allow you to come only if you bring all of your jewelry for us to drool over in person.

dates:
Friday 10/17 through Thursday 10/23.

the hours are:
[Friday through Thursday : Open daily: 11am-7.30pm]
[Sunday and Thursday: 11am-6pm]

Their hours don''t make any sense, but I''ll assume they mean 11am-7:30 EXCEPT on Sunday and Thursday.

I can go on Sunday after 2:30 PM or during the week after 5PM.
 
This ends on Thursday and I have one FREE pass.

I''m kidding. Harriet when will you go? If it is after 5PM, I would love to accompany you. But if there''s a real antiques fan who responds to your invitation, then I will shove myself out of the front seat.

as of right now 5:15PM is the earliest I can get there. but it looks like our patient is scheduled for 9:30AM. If the case actually starts on time (we never know), I may be able to get to the Armory around 4PM.

I will keep you updated tomorrow. Do you know of any fancy ways for me to get my contact info to you?

CDNinNYC and Sapphire, the more the merrier of course!! Can''t wait to meet everyone. This will be our unofficial NYC get-together. The tix are $20 each. I don''t mind paying (I would camp out in line to meet Mrs. Harriet!).

Harriet, I work on Madison and 99th. If I can get out at 4PM, I will take a cab over. If later, I''ll take the 6.

I'm laughing because that still doesn't solve the problem of when to meet. Why don't we just meet at the Armory at 5:15? Btw, I should have a spare ticket.

Alternatively, we could all meet for tea/coffee. Since I've already gone to the fair once, two of you can have my pass.

I''m good to meet either at the armory or before for coffee/tea. I''m near Grand Central Terminal so it shouldn''t take me long to get there.

I''m also cool with getting my own ticket. Should be fun!
