after 3-4 weeks of a mystery illness we finally got mom an ultrasound and it showed multiple masses in her abdomen, mainly surrounding her liver, and fluid surrounding both lobes of her liver.
i am freaking out- she''s normally the picture of health, and the spunkiest most energetic 79 year old i know (i was a late in life baby and the youngest of 6 so mom is a tad older)
my sister and i are taking her for a CAT scan tomorrow and then have to wait 1 day at least for a prelim reading.
i''m being optimistic and trying to hope for the best, but when you hear the words "multiple masses" it is very scary.
so, i know a bridal board isn''t the best place to post this, but i just wanted to ask you guys for somes prayers- she''s been so frustrated with the way she''s been feeling that at this point we just want answers.
