what brand did you chose for your baby?

No idea what brand they were, but we got a stack of little bamboo fibre reuseable diapers with waterproof wraps.

I keep some disposables around for emergencies and they are whatever brand is closest to the checkout when I''m shopping.

We use Huggies Snugglers on our LO and have been happy with them so far. LO is on the larger size and just recently moved up to Huggies "Movers" and they keep him dry and he doesn''t have any irritation. I think we tried Pampers in the beginning, and were happy with them, too. Huggies and Pampers seem to be the most popular.

Whatever''s on sale

.

I''ve used Huggies, Pampers, Luvz, Wal-Mart brand, and Babies R Us brand. The only ones I''m particular about are the night-time diapers, which have to be Pampers. During the day it doesn''t really matter.

I have been a loyal pampers user, but am about to make the switch. They have a new design on pampers cruisers and they are HORRIBLE. We had massive leaks every night. I bought 4 boxes on Amazon before I knew this, and was SO relieved that the 4 boxes I got are the old version with the mesh. When these run out, I am going to try another brand. Anyone have suggestions?

btw, there is a discussion going on about the new pampers on babycheapskate''s blog now.

I didn''t know they changed the design! Is it something that''s obvious on the box?? I''m a loyal Pampers user as well and love Cruisers. I''m going out tonight to get more diapers at Sams. Does it say "new design" or is it by luck?

I''m really sad to hear that.

Yup, you probably already know I HATE the new pampers!

We''ve used pampers, huggies, and costco kirkland diapers.

We''re using earth''s best right now and LOVE them. We stocked up when there was a really great sale! I got them for 7 or 8 cents each!

After these we''re going to use seventh generation. I bought two boxes on amazon when they were on sale.

I didn''t love kirland but they are very similar to huggies and for the price, they are good. We never had any leaks. I''ve heard good things about target''s up & up diapers but haven''t tried them. If you don''t see any good sales, you may want to give one of them a try. Definitely stay away from the new pampers!

Nope...all the hoopla is that they are doing it quietly and my understanding is the box is the same. I had a box of the new and the box of the old, and the boxes looked identical. Other people are saying there are differences...it's confusing. There's also a rumor that there is now a cruisers premium, which is the old cruisers and that's only sold by target. Not sure if that's true.

No mesh on the new one (that's the easiest giveaway) and apparently the absobent liner doesn't go as far up the back of the diaper, which explains the leaks we were having every night.

I have two boxes left of the old style and am thinking about pushing potty training early! The new diapers were THAT bad for us. A mess every single freakin' day.

Yes, it''s obvious on the box. It''s called "comfort flex" instead of "go baby grips" and they are HORRIBLE!

snlee, I read your FB posting on that, and checked my old and new boxes (I realized there was a change based on your posts when I actually had both version), and both boxes said comfort flex.

Tgal - I have to use the overnight ones, 2 sized larger. I swear he saves it all up for night! Try the Pampers overnights, I LOVE them.

I just saw the blog and it almost looks like the Luvs design.

I take it back. Guess my case is not the norm. I went and checked out the discussion on babycheapskate. That's horrible that there is no way to tell which design is in a particular package!

Are pampers swaddlers staying the same? Anyone know? I loved those.

Thanks MGal....I have been thinking about it, so maybe I will try it. I didn''t have an issue with the new cruisers leaking during the day (but we change her out pretty fast). I just hear they are so much more pricey, and I don''t want deal with pampers anymore. I''m not normally high and mighty about this kind of stuff, but hoenstly, the new pampers were really that bad. I thought I was being inept at putting them on or something, but I found her soaked through every morning.

e swaddlers are staying the same. Those were really great diapers.

Now that I have a home with a washer/dryer, I''m even contemplating cloth while we are in the house. Might get her closer to potty training.

Tgal, I''ve heard that Target Up & Up diapers are really good as well. I''ve never tried them though. We''ve only tried Luvs (which was a disaster) and Huggies (rashes) so I''ve stuck to Pampers.

I''ve heard Luvs is really bad. I have never tried huggies, but might grab one off my friend whose son is in the same size as Amelia. Honestly, I think I''m ready for my girl to be out of diapers...and yet, it''s SO convenient. I''ll check out all the options, so thanks fiery!!

DF, I think you must be running out of questions to be posing this one? But it started some good conversation between us moms!

Loyal Pampers user here. I used them the entire time with Andrew and never had 1 leak. I am using the swaddlers with Evan. Too bad to hear they are changing the bigger ones...maybe they will get the message and change back if sales go down.

My daughter uses Bum Genius cloth diapers, and Pampers Cruisers for car trips.

I am also loyal to pampers.

Cloth.

no,cuz when my younger daughter was a baby she can''t wear Pampers,Pampers would give her rashes on her butt,

we had to switch to the more expensive Huggies.

Pampers are the more expensive ones now, about $5 more.

If I had a tumble drier or a bigger house so I could have yet MORE washing drying than I do already then I would have used cloth.

As it is, I am a loyal Pampers user.

For the last few months I have been using Pampers "Easy Up" which are pull-ons rather than with the tapes at the sides. Daisy is a terrible wriggler and so it''s easier to put these on and just pull them up like knickers than to struggle and fight with tapes. You just tear down the sides to remove them so it''s not messy to take off a poopy one!

They work great so far.

Tried Huggies and the Eco-brand and just didn''t like them at all.

We bought some Target brand diapers and hate them.

We like the walmart brand for cheapie diapers. We liked Pampers when he was younger....we like huggies and luvs now (3 1/2 months).

we still use pampers swaddlers (i have a peanut) and i love them. at daycare they provide diapers and use the target brand. they are not as soft on the outside as pampers, but they hold A LOT-o-pee.. so i like them too.

hmmm...Huggies were more expensive 20 yrs ago.

I just went and looked at my Pampers boxes and sure enough, we have the new ones. I agree with TGal, they suck majorly. I suppose I never paid much attention because with twins, I have to buy diapers all the time. Thankfully, I have one that is sort of using the potty, and maybe before long we won''t have to worry about them. In the mean time, I guess I might try Seventh Gen or Huggies.

Our target diapers are terrible...I''m so mad that people recommended them to us. The velcro part on the tabs just falls completely off. I don''t mean they don''t stick...they stick but then the diaper part detaches from the velcro leaving the velcro in place but not the diaper. And we don''t have the receipt to return the diapers to Target....ugh.

I used Pampers Swaddlers when he was a newborn and liked them...but he grew out of size one''s, but size two''s were too big (and 1-2''s were hard to find) so we switched to Luvs. I''ve been happy with the Luvs so we just stuck with those. We use Huggies Overnights in one size larger at night though.
