I met with a diamond dealer today and he had the stone listed below. The stone is uncertified and I would like to know what you think is a good price. This is the only information I remember about the stone. I viewed the stone and the light returned seemed quite good. He claimed there were two "specs" in the pavilion which I was not able to find while viewing through the microscope.

-Carat weight: .725
-Cut: Ideal
-Color: G
-Clarity: VVS2
-Depth %: 61.2%
-Table %: 57%
-Symmetry: Very good
-Polish: Very good
-Girdle: medium
-Culet: None
-Fluorescence: none

What is the cut of the diamond? Round, emerald, etc

It''s got to be a round by the numbers.

Sorry, it''s a round cut.

Hi e30f150, welcome to PS,

Regarding "How much would you pay", I did a Search by Cut from the "Prices" menu here on PS and found the two following stones as the closest comparisons:

0.71 G VS1, Ideal AGS cert., Polish/Symm = EX/EX $3,497 (GOG)
0.70 G VVS1, Ideal AGS cert., Polish/Symm = EX/EX $3,927 (GOG)

Based on these, which have AGS reports, and knowing there is a discount for reports from other labs never mind no report, I''d say no more than $3,500 for your item, BUT a seller with overhead to pay will rarely be able to match the prices from internet vendors.
