Haha..I didn''t even realize they were on tonight.

Ever since the advent of Hulu, Torrent, and Netflix streaming I haven''t watched real cable TV. With the exceptions of Big Bang Theory and Glee.

Yes, I'm not watching either. I haven't seen any of the movies nominated for best pictures. Theaters have become so loud that I feel like I'm giving up part of my high frequency hearing when I go. Also I think the Oscars have been... well, some of the choices that have been made over the years have really turned me off.

I watched a bit of the preshow at my sister''s because the Wake Forest-Clemson basketball game was not on, but I am home and have no tv so I am not watching.

Not watching. But I hope Sandra Bullock wins. She was great in that movie. But that''s the only one I"ve seen and only because grandkids dragged me.

I can''t help but watch--I love to see what everyone''s wearing! I haven''t seen a single one of the nominated films though, sadly enough. Maybe I should rent and watch a movie instead of watching the Oscars!

Ooops nope forgot they were on. And besides, my two very sick roommates have been laying on our couch all weekend so that is a Callisto free zone right now because I do not feel like getting sick. I''m quarantined to my room. I''ll be sure to look up the worst and best dressed lists tomorrow though. That''s my favorite part anyways.

I usually win money because I guess the winners. I am a movie freak. I have to admit that this years increase of Best Picture to 10 nominees threw me for a loop. I hadn''t had the time to see all of the the movies, so I was at a disadvantage.

I hope that when all is said and done that I still won the pool, because I got everything correct except "The Hurt Locker". Daaaannnng, I didn''t see the movie so I didn''t expect the Best Movie Award. I didn''t omit the possibility, so I think I''m still safe...on the award pool.

I don''t really care, either. There was an item on the news this morning about who won what and I''ve no idea who they''re talking about. It''s just tedious (to me, anyway). I only tuned in to see the weather forecast!

This was the first year I didn''t care about watching the Oscars and the first year my DH made a point to be sure we did watch them. They were fine as there wasn''t all that comedic monologue as previous years have had.
