Thanks everyone! I must confess that the in the hand pic the stone looks much bigger than in person.

The setting will actually be very similar to Madarski''s which was recently posted here. Double claw prongs, chapel, basket setting, 1.8mm one-sided pave shank. The pave will look like this (but alas, the ring won''t), which Leon calls "mushroom" pave. I''m actually not sure if I regret that decision, or if I should tell him to just go with the regular bead-set look. Any encouragement would be appreciated!

Congratulations on finding a gorgeous stone! I have a cushion too (nowhere near as huge as yours!

) and I absolutely love the look of it. I think the setting you are looking at will be beautiful. I like the "mushroom" pave look! It''s different and I''m sure it will be done with such precision that you will be blown away. You can''t go wrong with Leon but then again, trust your gut. If you really think you won''t like it, talk to him about it and I''m sure he''ll be more than willing to work with you to make you happy. Can''t wait to see the final results, I know it''ll be a stunner!!!
