Hasn't anyone been posting about the weather? A nor'easter is coming. It hasn't hit here (Connecticut) yet, but earlier in the day my daughter spoke to my husband on the phone. He said it was snowing at our house in Virginia (suburbs of Washington, DC). What's going on where you are?

I've been watching the snow storn update on my Bruce Springsteen forum

As for here ...
Not too shabby

It's super windy here. And snowy. It's sticking here. I don't think we are getting much accumulation. I hope.

I am holding my breath we don't lose power. Thanks for posting @AGBF.
Stay safe and warm and cozy all. XOXO.

It's really coming down and sticking.
Sorry for the crappy pic. It's too cold and dark and windy to go outside and take the photo.

Well @AGBF you and I are in the same boat (or sled is better in this case). We are slated for 12-18” here in inland CT and it is bone chilling cold right now. DH just left to go get pizza and the snow should be falling by 6pm.

10-18" predicted in the greater Boston area. Starting at 7 pm.

I'm on the coast, YYY. I'm in southwestern Connecticut, right on the I-95 corridor. I don't think I'm far from you at all, but I'm not in "the snow belt". The only time we really get socked is when there's a nor'easter, since that's a coastal storm! We are expecting up to 18 inches, but a friend who works for AAA said the Winstead area may get two feet. (The Canadians are probably laughing at us!)

OMG thats so pretty
is it quiet as a mouse outside ?
Wrap up warm

It just started here north of NYC. They’re calling for 12-18 inches for us. No school, not even remote, tomorrow. Yay me! Stay safe and cozy all!!

North of the Eastern Seaboard, here. In that other country.:) Less than one inch forecast for us.

Stay safe everyone, and good luck.

No, the Canadians wouldn't laugh at you. 18 inches is a LOT of snow, even for us.

8pm just starting...

I always have romantic fantasies about these winter storms where I'm holed up in a warm cozy cabin sipping hot chocolate with my trusty pooch by my side and stunningly handsome black haired blue-eyed Scotsman with a heavy brogue reading aloud to me. Having grown up enduring Pennsylvania winters, I know the reality but my fantasy springs eternal.

A steady snow so far, and probably 4-5" here in Brooklyn.

Coming down like crazy. Super windy and about six inches accumulated already!! :(

Snowing here in North Jersey. The wind is wild

If I could send you a box full of Springsteen memorabilia I would. Instead, how about his High School yearbook photo?

:kiss2:
If you ever do a clear out let me know and I'll help you rehome it (just please don't chuck it out)

Im just back from a walk to the shop and the chemist
A nice breeze if you can get it but otherwise hot with no shade
Just out of a cold shower
I could do with a bullet full of that NJ snow

The only things I like about snow is the first set of foot and pet paw prints on virgin snow, and watching the dog playing in snow.

DK :))

Pictures from this morning, Santa and Frosty got buried overnight :twisted2:

Snow is still falling here but we have power so not complaining. How is everyone else doing?

Here in Central NJ the winds are still fierce and the ocean is at high tide so we are getting slammed but the snow has stopped for the most part (just flurrying now) and we only have about 6" by us.

It's noisy out here @Daisys and Diamonds because of the sea slamming into our deck and the winds howling. But it is pretty too. Just not quiet.

@YadaYadaYada
I love the photo of the table.
I remember the blizzard of '93, when we got 23" in Pittsburgh.
I really dislike snow, because of growing up "fighting the snow", as my mom always said.
I'm happy to be in a part of the Southwest where we occasionally get a few inches, max.

In NH we woke up to 18 inches and expecting another 6. We haven’t had this much in years! Pretty to look at but that is it from my perspective. We usually try to take a few vacations to get out of the winter weather, but not this year. Hopeful for next though.

Cats are still coming to eat thank goodness.

It’s actually still coming down at a good clip.

We have over a foot. Haven’t ventured out yet but here’s the scene from my second floor window!

@stracci2000, I am not a big fan of the snow or the cold but the kids love it. I tell DH all the time that we are living here and dealing with the cold now so we can move somewhere warm when we are old!6FF47049-FB28-4514-970A-F53EAFF085F5.jpeg

Cute kid! Cute dog!
I love those old homes in your neighborhood!

@stracci2000, It's all old colonials on this street, except for our house which is a ranch, everyone calls it the "flat house"
