No Idea about anything

Hi, Firstly apologies for my lack of any knowledge,

I have a while bunch of uncut diamonds which I am sure are of no real value at all other than sentimental As I mined them myself in Australia, I am in the process of using a few to create a silver necklace for my girlfriend's anniversary present! any suggestions on what to do to make them prettier, they are not really worth cutting so how else can I make them sparkle without blowing my Budget

consider putting them in a rock tumbler if you arent going to get them cut is what comes to mind for me.

Excellent thanks for the help my friend's tumbler should suffice, but what should I put in the tumbler to polish them though? Surely diamonds aren't polished by sand? do I need diamond dust to polish them?

Can't you just put them in all together and have them polish each other?
