No 18ct gold mark. Is it a problem?

Hi everybody,

It is again about my Butterfly ring. It is beautiful, I like it, but during the ring’s appraisal I discovered that the 18ct mark is missing on the ring. It is a sophisticated designer’s ring and there is indeed very little space for the mark. The appraisal describes it as 18ct gold. I’d like to hear your opinion how the absence of the gold mark affects the value of the ring, for example, in the future if I decide to sell it, which is unlikely, but still…
