Hi,
I think I may have finally found a stone, but would really like your opinions before I buy. I have to make a decision by Sunday. Thanks!

Hi! I'd say the images look good for cut, but I am worried about it not being eyeclean as I can see two inclusions that appear to be black, and one is under the table. Does the vendor have the stone in-house? What is the clarity grade?

The cut is very symmetrical and has great proportions.
It has been slightly painted (search the board to find out more - some people like it) and this can reduce the contrast a little, will possibly add a touch to the fire. GIA will downgrade for painting and digging with a comment added like "downgraded for brillianteering"
Unless the stone is over 2ct I doubt, with good normal vision, you will see the single SI1 looking inclusion that is reflecting from one side to the other.

Lol, I don't like a black inclusion under the table even with a 10x loupe! I think there are better SI1 inclusions, personally. I'd like to see the inclusion plot and a magnified photo of the stone.

No issue with the cut - looks great!

My only concern is with the inclusion - you would need to see the stone in person to figure out if this is an issue or not for you. This is something pretty difficult to assess remotely, but once you have it in your hands, you should be able to assess whether this is an issue for you, or not, pretty quickly. Is there a chance you can view the stone in-person prior to purchase (or does the vendor have a solid return/shipping/insurance policy)?

If the inclusion doesn't bother you when seeing the stone in person, you should have no hesitation in making the pick!

Inclusions are susuch a personal thing. Is she going to be a freak like us and take a million macro photos of the stone and share them on her instagram or on PS? Probably not? Then I'd make certain its eye clean at 6" and leave it at that.
Seems lovely. I do love a stone with a table less than 57 :)

Hi op, my guess is that the crystal inclusion is not visible. Does the vendor say it's eye clean to your standards? Within, say 8 inches or 12 inches, what have you. Nice choice.

HI Everyone,
Thanks for your input. I did see the stone in person and it is eyeclean. I would prefer a non black inclusion, but considering the other positive aspects of the stone and the fact that i have been searching for half the year and have encountered much worse, I was willing to let it go. With regards to the painting and digging, is this something I should be concerned about? I read that the effects could be positive or negative but am not sure how it's affecting this particular stone. Is it lowering the quality and the value of the diamond? Can I use this as a bargaining chip of sorts? I am attaching the GIA cert and the hearts pic... It seems like the responses for the most part are positive and if so, I think I may purchase. Very exciting! THanks again. Looking forward to any more advice.

This appears to be crown painting and GIA are fairly strict on it, so they would have dropped the cut to VG if they felt it was bad enough.
I guess if you are paying for a top branded H&A's then, go elsewhere.
If you are looking for top quality, have seen many stones, and the price and seller gel, then go for it
