New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees was awarded over $6 million in a fraud lawsuit he filed against a San Diego jeweler.
The lawsuit stated Brees and his wife had paid the jeweler $15 million for diamonds for investment purposes, when the diamonds were worth millions less.
One specific example said a diamond Brees paid $8.1 million for was actually worth $3.75 million.
