Hello Everyone,

I have been looking at the forum for about a week now and trying to solve my own questions. I know this place is full of knowledge and thought I might ask a couple questions. Pardon me if they have been asked before.

Here is the description of the diamond from the seller

This is a beautiful Diamond, it is 0.80 Carats and is G in Color which places in the "Near Colorless" category. I myself have G colored emerald cut stones and they are beautiful. The Clarity on this Diamond is a VS2 which is a high clarity stone. The Polish is EXCELLENT and the Symmetry is VERY GOOD.

I am enclosing the link to the picture of the diamond and the EGL paperwork. Some reason I can''t use the link above and attach them.

Now my questions,

1) Is this Diamond as described? I know it''s hard to answer this because of just one picture

2) Is this price a good deal for the diamond?

3) Is there anything else I should be looking at or asking that I might have missed?

Thank in advanced

Hi there and welcome to Pricescope!! I really don''t know much about trillions, but I do know that AGS and GIA are the preferred labs over EGL, though EGL-USA is the best of the EGL labs. With that being said, it is my understanding that in some cases, what EGL says is a G may actually be more of an H and a VS2 may actually be more of an SI1. I don''t know about the price, but hopefully somebody with more experience than me will come in here and can help with that.

Ditto - EGL USA is said to be the strongest lab, but I don't know anything about trilliants either, if you like the diamond then that is a start. Could you ask for a couple more pics of the diamond?
