Regular cleaning at home would keep it looking good, with a periodic checkup at any local jeweller for prong tightness (every 6 months) which is usually free. The local jeweller will also usually steam clean or put it in the ultrasonic while you are there. Polishing is done on as as-needed basis.
ditto. Clean it yourself with an ammonia based solution you can get at a drug store for $5. Beyond this, have the prongs checked 1-2 times a year. If it''s platinum you want want to get it polished 1-2 a year and same for rhodium plating if it''s whitegold. Check your warantee because some online dealers void the warantee if a ring is worked on by someone else. If not, feel free to go to someone local you trust and if you don''t care about the warantee or it''s expired then you can save money on shipping by going to someone local you trust. Polishing, rhodiu, and prong checking are all very general maintenance that your trusted jeweler should easily be able to handle.
