Hi all,

I've been searching around for a diamond for awhile and I've been reading that the cut is important. Consequently, I wanted something clean to the naked eye with an ideal cut. I was thinking along the lines of a 1.1-1.3 carat round diamond, G color, and Si1. Are the following two good picks? Is a 0.05C difference noticeable?

My budget is around $10k for the diamond.

Best Regards,

I love #1 for the price and its proportions ...

Those picks are solid. I'd take the first one, between those two, due to the price. The extra $2k will go a long way towards an upgraded setting.

That being said, I would easily prefer this one to the second stone, if you are looking for at the larger. Why? Better clarity, slightly larger + fluorescence, for a lower price:

1.22ct, G, VS1

I've purchased a BG Blue stone and you can rest assured that stone will be AWESOME!

Here's another solid pick, if you like Whiteflash settings better:
1.27ct, G, SI1

Thank you very much for the input
