I had a long post all written up, but it got lost and nothing seems to be working, post-wise, so I''m at my wits end. Can people just tell me what they think of this ring? Thanks!!!

1.01ct Cushion Cut Diamond
I color
VVS2
GIA Certified
1.21 length to width ratio
60.2% Depth, 64% Table
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
No Culet
Fluorescence: Medium Blue
Thin to very Thick Faceted Girdle
measures 6.77 x 5.58 x 3.36mm

Do you have pictures of the stone? You can''t make a determination about a cushion from numbers alone. Rounds are the easiest to judge by numbers.

Garrr....I''m so frustrated. I have the GIA report in jpeg and uploaded to a host site so that I can show you guys, but everytime I try to attach it or provide a link, it says there is an error...what am I doing wrong?

Ok, I think I managed to upload the GIA report -- Comment away!

I''m especially interested in knowing if the inclusions (feather, extra facet, natural indentation) should be things to worry about, even though it is a VVSI2?

Thanks!

Well, the VVS2 should be fine, but it''s overkill. Cushions you can almost always easily drop to a VS2 or Si1 without compromising anything. You''d save a lot of $ and with that money I would:

Ratchet up the color quite a bit, to a G or H maybe. Cushions can show a lot of color compared to rounds. Have you seen it in person?

Is the table and depth right in your post? I can''t really see the cert, but usually you want the table in mid 50''s and depth in mid 60''s. Soooo that table is HUGE.

On another note, if it''s a modern stone, which I assume it is, good symmtery and polish can really negatively affect the look of the stone. Try to get an Ex/Ex or at the very least a Vg/Vg.

Sorry, but unless this stone speaks to you in person, I would PASS PASS PASS.
