So, I''m purchasing an engagement ring and I think I''ve selected the diamond and setting.
I''ve had good experience with BN so I was going to go with them again:

This is setting I chose...she has small fingers (4.5) so I wanted something petite.

More importantly, here is the diamond:

Any feedback the experts can provide is greatly appreciated. I was also looking at a similar diamond with F color but really didn''t think I needed to spend another $2000 for the difference.

Thanks
Jeff

Nope, stone will be leaky, pavilion angle is too steep for that crown angle.

I can't see the links as usual with these to comment much, but from what SC says I suspect this is what we call a steep deep here, both crown and pavilion angles are not a good fit for each other causing the diamond to leak light.

Sorry, can't find the same stone on the UK site.

This is the report check link.

Thanks for doing this for me SC, its a pain that I can't fix them myself or locate otherwise....I have tried and nothing works...

SC, what angles should I be looking for in a 1.5ct Round Brilliant?
