I am currently searching for an asscher for my e-ring. I am having some trouble finding the one!

I know I like the look of a square with clipped corners instead of the octagonal look.
I prefer an ideal/excellent cut. And from what I have read I should not go lower than a G in color.
My budget is around $2000 for the diamond and want it as big as I can get without sacrificing the cut and color.

I think I like this one

Please help me find the one!

Thanks!

ETA: Excuse the attachment. It didn't work, so I posted a link.

So far so good, but pics are key! Do you have any to post? Not only does it give you a better idea of overall performance and the pattern, which is essential for asschers, but it also lets you see the size of the windmills, which is important to you.

There is a pic with the link.

Thanks! I tried the link before and got an error message, but it seems to be working now...

I like the patterning, but it doesn''t have the small windmills like you want--it sounds like you want thinner windmills and a more square shape?

I would prefer small windmills, but I am having trouble finding exactly what I want. Which is why I have tried to enlist PS members to help!

For the look you describe you are going for I would expand my search to include emeralds. You''ll find a lot of "asschers" or square emeralds that way that will meet your criteria. Make sure that the length and with are close to the same in mm and you''ll find what you are looking for. Asschers that are just a tad off on mm are some times listed as emeralds on the virtual inventory. I came across a lot of them when searching for my stone.

Good luck.

I have been looking for an Asscher in this range for awhile now. And, I do notice that most vendors really ebb and flow in terms of how many diamonds they have in stock at one time. If you aren''t in any hurry, I might suggest waiting. Or, you could also call a couple vendors with the specs you want and enlist them into the hunt. The JA selection right now is about 1/5 what it was two weeks ago. So, maybe in a couple weeks, it will pick up again.

Here''s one in your price range:

The Good/Good on polish and symmetry are the only points of concern as far as the numbers go. But, it does have small windmills and seems to my non-expert eye like it could be okay.

I have looked at that one and something just seems to be missing for me.
