Newbie- Need help in deciding on diamonds

Hi! I am new to this forum and to purchasing diamonds online. I am looking into buying my first pair of diamond earrings and a diamond pendant.

My budget for both the earrings and pendant is around $4500-$5000. The size I wanted for the earrings are at least 0.4ct each and for the pendant to be around 0.6-0.8ct. I don''t want to go too low in color (at least I) or too low in clarity (at least VS2) but if the experts think that the color or clarity is not as important I am up for your suggestions.

I have looked at White Flash and they have suggested these diamonds for me. These are all ACA.I don''t really know much about diamonds so I am hoping the experts here can tell me if they are good:

What colour is your skin?




I ask because I am perpetually tanned. My earrings are Js, if I were to do it over I'd go with Ks or Ls - anything not clearly tinted just looks WHITE against my skin. One of my friends has very, very pale skin, and my J diamonds do look more tinted against her ears than mine, even face-up.




The stones themselves.. ACAs are fantastically cut, so all you'll see is sparkle - post hearts images or links for conf. I would go much, much lower in clarity - in the under 1ct sizes a faceup eyeclean SI1/SI2 is easy to find. For earrings noone is every going to be looking through the sides or bottom so clean from the top is the only real requirement - you could also gain quite a bit on size with the savings in clarity. Pendant - same thing, esp. since you plan on a bezel setting. Need more info on the second two pendant options - post crown and pavilion info//
