Hi everyone,
my soon to be fiance and i have been shopping for a diamond for a few months now and we settled for this one. I have seen it under a loupe first-hand and it''s beautiful. It''s certified by GemScan and I have the SARIN report on it as well. I wanted to know if the stats are those of a diamond that''s really Ideal... and if this is really as great a diamond as we think it is for the price, which is $7000 CAD for the stone (best i have found so far).
Here are the stats:
Shape: Round brilliant Cut
Measurements: 6.54 x 6.51 4.03mm
Weight: 1.05ct
Clarity: VS-2
Colour: G
Cut: Ideal
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: none
Diameter (mm): 6.53 (6.52-6.54)
Crown angle: 34.4
Crown height: 15.0%
Pavil Angle: 40.6
Pavil Depth: 42.6%
Culet: 1.3%
Table Size: 55.9%
Total Depth: 61.6%
Girdle Thick %: 1.4-2.2
remarks: Ideal cut, per standards of the American Gem Society (AGS)
Thanks everyone!!!
