Newbie here! Saying hello and would like some help with a PoH diamond

Hello everyone!

Another newbie here! Just want to take a moment to say THANKS to everyone that contributes to this community. The information here as been a great help in my search for the perfect engagement diamond for my gf, (hopefully soon to be fiancee!)

She wants a square cut diamond and previously I had been shopping for classic princess cuts at local vendors (Stuller), Blue Nile and Union Diamond. After finding this site I discovered the H&A cut square diamonds and we both have fallen in love with them. Good Old Gold currently seems to have the best selection of square H&A cut stones and I''ve reserved what I think is the best stone in there selection that fit my budget. Would some of the diamond enthusiast here mind having a look and sharing your thoughts (good or bad)?

I bet this baby sparkles like mad! I''ll let some of the pros chime in w/ more educated opinions about the table inclusions - I''m not sure how noticeable these will be IRL. That said, I love these cut corners; really gorgeous!

Look nice, check with GOG if you are concern about the inclusion, you can''t tell if it is eye-clean or not from the images.

Thats a beauty, I love these diamonds! Check it is eyeclean to your standards by asking Jon to check it out for you, if so it could be a superb choice.

Thanks to everyone who commented so far!! I did call GOG yesterday before placing the stone on hold and talked with Darren in the internet department. Turns out most of the staff is on summer break but he was able to pull the stone and indicated it was eye clean, which was my main concern. Anyway, I should be hearing back from him today to arrange an inspection at a local appraiser

Would love to hear some other comments as well!!

I know nothing about the numbers but that stone is gorgeous! I love the idea that it has the
cut like a round brilliant (so lots of sparkle) but has a unique shape. I hope it turns out to be
what you want so you can post some pictures for us! Good luck and keep us posted!!!

Just wanted to pass along an update...

Received the diamond from GOG last week and it's stunning!

The PoH H&A simply blows away all the classic princess cuts that I've looked at previously. I'm going on vacation next week (Outer Banks, NC!!) and hope to send it out to be set the following week. Trying to decide between a setting from James Allen (11130W Pictured below) or Unique Settings of NY (ENR8099). If anyone has pictures of either setting I'd love to see them!
