Newbie Diamond Search Help :-)

Hello all!

I''m new to the board and recently dived into the world of round diamond searching. The most important quality of diamond to me is the cut and I am looking for something with an excellent cut. I also prefer the color to be G. Other than that, I am looking for an eye clean stone VS-S1. Here is the stone in which I am going to begin my search around:

Any way I could go bigger? My budget is around 6000-9000 so help find me the most wonderful stone Pricescope minions!

If you do no need H&A, do not mind fluor, VG symm and polish, this looks promising. Ask JA if it is eye-clean, if the fluor makes the stone oily/hazy and get an idealscope image if interested,

I requested the additional information from JA and if all goes well with that, then I will request the idealscope as well.

Any other suggestions? Maybe adding to the cut and reducing the size within my budget?

Okay...I''ve done some more research and now I''m thinking that I definitely want to go with something that is very well cut and around the 1.25 carat area. Does anyone think that this has any promise?

I ordered the GIA report and could have Brian personally look at it if I like it. $8045 is the price. Can anyone find me some similar stones that would be better value in the 1.2-1.4 carat range and perform just as good/better?

I''m also thinking I really like that Sierra Setting at Whiteflash if that helps anyone explore.

That is a virtual diamond, so there isn''t enough information to go on. I think one of the benefits of BGD is that Brian has already selected amazing diamonds for their in house stock, so I personally would stick with those if I am going with BGD.

If you like the WF sierra then order the diamond from them since then they will take responsibility for the diamond during the setting process.
