newbie diamond question

I would like to upgrade to a 1.50-1.55 round brilliant diamond. What do I look for to find the most brilliant. interested in F-G color- VS1- what are the right poportions to plug in on table and depth. what is the difference between hearts and arrows- ideal cuts - Is there much difference in ideal excellent and verygood on polish and symmetry - what do you want for girdle thickness? thanks for the help
